Frequently asked questions
What is a 609 letter and how does it work?
609 are what you need to get negative accounts taken off your credit report. You can use it to dispute errors, resolve inaccuracies, and handle other items that might be impacting and lowering your credit score.
What is Debt Validation?
Collection Agencies must be able to verify, or "validate," any debt on which they are are attempting to collect payment. If a debt collector has failed to respond to validation request, then they have essentially admitted, that the debt in question is inaccurate. As such, all collection effort on the debt must cease and any derogatory listing should be permanently removed from any consumer credit reports.
